Cervical Support SystemDual-Loft · Ice-Silk

You don’t have a sleep problem.
You have a 3AM neck problem.

Flat pillows push your head forward and hold it there for eight hours. The Curvara holds your neck at 15° instead — the angle your cervical spine actually rests at.

The Curvara Cervical PillowOne size · In stock
  • 60 nights to decide. Sleep on it for two months. Send it back if your neck disagrees.
  • Free tracked shipping. Ships in 24 hours from local stock.
  • Arrives sealed and odourless. No week of airing it out.

Tap 01 — The first night

Nobody believes a pillow can do this. Then they lie down.

The shape looks aggressive on a screen. In practice your head sinks into the cradle and your neck finally lands on something that holds it up.

The whole product, in one number

15°

The angle your neck holds when nothing is pushing on it.

A flat pillow lifts your skull and leaves the gap under your neck empty. The Curvara fills the gap first, then lets your head drop into it. Support from the ridge. Comfort from the cradle.

Mechanism

The enemy was never your mattress. It was flat.

You spend the day with your chin dropped toward a screen. Then you spend the night on a slab holding it there. Eight hours of practising the posture you’re trying to undo.

Density test

No sound needed

Watch how slowly it comes back.

Cheap foam springs back instantly — that’s bounce, not support. High-density foam takes its time, because it’s absorbing weight instead of pushing back. Press it and the print stays for a second. That second is the whole difference.

Loops silently — nothing to press

Four things a flat pillow cannot copy

This shape isn’t styling. Every curve is doing a job.

01 — Two densities

Firm under the neck. Soft where your head lands.

Most cervical pillows get returned for uniform firmness — hard everywhere, so your skull takes the hit. The ridge here is dense enough to hold a cervical curve; the cradle is soft enough to let your head sink in and stay.

02 — Dual loft

One pillow. Back sleeper and side sleeper.

The centre sits low for backs. The outer wings sit higher, because a side sleeper’s shoulder needs that height to keep the head level. Roll over at 3AM and you land on the right loft, not the wrong one.

03 — Arm channels

Cut-outs for the arm you always have to move.

Side sleepers tuck an arm under the pillow, then wake with pins and needles. The scalloped cut-outs give that arm somewhere to go, so nothing gets compressed under your own head’s weight.

04 — Ice-silk shell

There is no hot side to flip away from.

Memory foam traps heat — the trade-off nobody warns you about. A fine ice-silk weave over a ventilated core moves heat out instead of banking it, so the surface still reads cool at 4AM.

Real customer

Tap 02 — Two weeks in

“I stopped waking up and checking whether it hurt.”

That’s the real marker — not a dramatic before-and-after. You just stop running the morning inventory of what’s stiff.

Thermal behaviour

Standard foam runs 30°C.
This runs 25°C.

Five degrees is the difference between sleeping through and waking up to flip the pillow. Heat doesn’t wake you gently — it wakes you at 3AM, annoyed.

25°C CURVARA · VENTED CORE 30°C STANDARD FOAM · SEALED
Shell & weave

No sound needed

Cool to the touch before you even lie down.

The ice-silk weave has a real tooth to it — you can see the grain move. It reads cold on contact, and it zips off for the wash, so the part touching your face doesn’t go a year unwashed.

Loops silently — nothing to press

Told upfront, because nobody else does

The first three nights are strange. Then it clicks.

Your neck has been held one way for years. Correcting that feels like something at first — that’s alignment, not a defect. Here’s the honest curve, so you don’t bail on night two.

  1. Nights 1–3

    Unfamiliar

It feels higher than you’re used to and your head wants to move. Stay centred in the cradle. Most people notice their shoulders drop first.

  2. Nights 4–7

    Settling

The foam has read your weight and heat, and you’ve stopped hunting for a position. Mornings get quieter.

  3. Night 14

    Non-negotiable

This is where people start packing it for trips. One night back on a flat pillow is all the proof anyone needs.

Side sleepers

Tap 03 — How to actually lie on it

Most people use a cervical pillow wrong for a week.

Neck on the ridge, head in the dip, shoulder in the cut-out. Not head on the ridge. Thirty seconds here saves three bad nights and one unnecessary return.

Straight answers

The questions you were going to email us.

That’s a construction problem, not a category problem. Most cervical pillows are cut from one block at one density, so the part holding your neck up and the part your skull rests on are equally hard. The Curvara uses two: a firm ridge under the neck, a softer cradle where your head lands. You get held, not pushed.

The middle isn’t where side sleepers go. The outer wings are deliberately taller, because your shoulder lifts your body off the mattress and your head needs that height to stay level with your spine. Roll left, right or onto your back — there’s a correct zone in all three.

The cut-outs also give your under-arm somewhere to sit, which is what usually causes the dead-arm wake-up.

No. It ships in a sealed breathable bag rather than vacuum-compressed into a brick, which is what traps that off-gassing smell. Unbox it, put the cover on, sleep on it the same night.

Low-density foam does — it’s cheap because it’s mostly air, and air compresses permanently. The Curvara core is high-density and moulded to shape rather than cut, so the contour is structural. It should hold for years of nightly use, not months.

The cover is removable and machine washable, so the part that ages fastest is the part you can clean.

Dispatched within 24 hours from local stock, tracked — typically a few days, not weeks from overseas. Tracking number the moment it leaves the warehouse.

Then you have 60 nights. Sleep on it through the adaptation week and out the other side. If your neck still disagrees, contact us and we’ll sort the return. No interrogation, no restocking games.

Honest answer: a pillow supports your neck while you sleep. It doesn’t rebuild posture on its own, and anyone promising that in eight hours is selling you something. Forward head posture is built over years of screen time and takes daytime work — screen height, breaks, strengthening — to change.

What a pillow controls is the third of your day spent lying down — and right now a flat one spends those hours holding your head forward. The Curvara stops that. One variable, done properly. If you have ongoing pain, numbness or an existing neck condition, see a physio or doctor first — we’d rather you got the right advice than the wrong pillow.

Unboxing

No sound needed

Out of the box and onto the bed. Same night.

No 48-hour expansion window, no brick slowly remembering what it’s meant to be. It arrives in its final shape, because a moulded contour doesn’t need to inflate to work.

Night three was the turning point

First two nights I thought I’d wasted my money — felt tall, kept sliding off the middle. Read the instructions properly (neck on the ridge, not your head) and night three I slept straight through. Six weeks in and I take it to my mum’s now.

The cooling is not marketing fluff

I’ve owned three memory foam pillows and every one turned into a hot brick by 2AM. This one I have never once flipped. The cover feels properly cold when you get in.

Great, but give it the full week

Four stars only because the adjustment was longer for me than my husband — eight nights, not three. Once through it, the difference in my mornings was obvious. Wish the cover came in a second colour.

Desk job, 6’2”, broad shoulders — it fits

Was worried I’d be too big for the contour, like every other cervical pillow. The outer sections are high enough that my shoulder isn’t pushing my head off-axis on my side. No more 6AM shoulder-blade ache.

Zero smell, straight out of the bag

Last foam pillow I bought stank for nine days and I slept in the spare room. This one had no odour at all — on the bed ten minutes after opening it.

Bought one, ended up buying two

My partner kept stealing mine. That’s the review. The firmness balance is the thing — solid ridge, soft where your head goes, so it doesn’t feel like sleeping on a shelf.

The arm cut-outs are the underrated bit

I sleep with one arm tucked under the pillow and used to wake with a numb hand two or three times a week. The side notch gives my arm somewhere to actually be. Hasn’t happened since.

Solid pillow, honest company

Ordered half expecting a dropship job and a two-week wait. Shipped next day, arrived in four, and it’s clearly moulded rather than a cut block of cheap foam. Docking a star only because I’d like a lower version.

Small frame, short neck — still works

I’m 5’2” and every contour pillow I’ve tried tilted my chin toward my chest. The centre dip is deep enough that my head drops into it instead of sitting on top. Four nights to feel normal.

Cover washes and comes back like new

Four washes in, no pilling, no shrinkage, still feels cool. Proper zip, not the flimsy kind that catches. Foam has held its exact shape since day one.

I stopped taking my own pillow to hotels

The opposite, actually — I take this one instead now. Squashes into a carry-on and springs back. Six months in and it holds the same shape it did out of the bag.

Nine hours at a desk, and mornings are quieter now

Not going to claim it fixed my posture — I still hunch over a laptop all day, that’s on me. But I’m not waking up already stiff before the day starts, which is a different way to get out of bed.
